This song is what got me into post-hardcore and rock music in general. I remember being an 8 year old playing Madden 07. I heard this song and went into the soundtrack manager to disable every other song. My brother would make fun of me for just playing practice mode so I could get gold medals while this gem would play over and over again.

These were the days where we could relate to our music. Connect to the artists and everyone around us. Where we could discuss the lyrics with each other and build friendships upon our tastes. I'll never forget meeting Underoath years ago in New York City at a pizza parlor and when I went up to them they were writing music while enjoying a slice. They put so much time into there music that they couldn't even eat without writing down ideas. They wanted to connect with us. They wanted to reach out to us. Who cares if they are Christians or not, they found a way to bring us all together. This is music people. This is what music is all about.
