Who’s got the funk
When you’re feeling low down
Who’s going to love you
When there’s no one else around
Who’s going to help you
Especially when you’re sick
Loving Mary
I need you quick
She knows and she gives her everything
She knows and she can do her thing
She knows and she tries her best
She knows, oh, you know she knows
Who’s got the junk
When you’re feeling low down
Who’s going to give
When there’s none to go around
Who’s going to help you
When you feel you’ve had enough
Mother Mary
This child, this rose
But loving Mary
Do you feel the pain?
I’m falling down
And I can’t get up again
Do ya, do ya, do ya Do ya, do ya, do ya Just a striped guitar reaction
Who’s going to help you
Especially when you’re ill
Loving Mary
I hope you will
But loving Mary
Do you feel the pain?
I’m falling down
And I can’t get up again
Do ya, do ya, do ya Do ya, do ya, do ya Mother Mary, is there nothing you can do?
IMO, the most underrated artist (Phil) and band of my generation. In your vein lyrics and melodies, and then add the ORIGINAL (at the time) double lead guitar on some of the art after this...….
The greatest Rocking band to ever set foot on stage on God green earth by a very long country mile and I with my brothers are proof of this, we very lucky to get to see Phill and his boy over 180 times, we also got to9 see many other top rocking bangs over a 38 year span but none could quite reach the heights of Thin Lizzy. Has anyone ever heard the best rocking cowboy that every walked all across the state of Texas in one go and barefooted, the great Willie Nelson sing Night Life, Willie loved Phil lyrics so much that he decided that he would pinch a few ideas and words for his own song. later Bonnie Raitt & BB King heard about this and they decided that they would like to join the gang.
