Very good version! The singer makes it seem so easy, but when I tried to sing along with him I couldn't keep up, lol! Very powerful voice.

Why just why compare!? just shut up and enjoy both versions!

They made this version in their style. I love both versions and both bands. Been a fan of Scorpions since I was a kid. Just discovered this band over the last couple of years. I recommend those that have not heard one or the other or even both, check them out.

the scream "This can't be the end... I'M STILL LOVING YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU" by scorpions is EPIC. but i prefer sonata at some points..

It should be off, this song could not possibly warrant this style! and yet, here I am completely baffled how well it works :-o

Perfect cover! Takes the original and creates some entirely new. Which is better, which is worse, this is a purely personal matter; very foolish to argue in either direction. The cover's different: that's the important point. Kudos to both Scorpions and Sonata Arctica.

This is one of the few covers I love to come back to over and over again. Takes a great power ballad and gives it SA's power metal touch. Almost gives me the feel of a knight trying to return to his love after a tough battle, the galloping drums pounding like horse hooves across a tundra. It's just up there with covers that work as metal/rock versions, like the cover of The Thunder Rolls (Garth Brooks) that Overscene did. Just damn good music.

Wonderful cover of one of the Scorpion's most passionate love songs ever penned! Although a complete departure from the original a VERY DESERVING THUMBS UP!
