You just go from man to man
I just don’t seem to understand
Why you’re so very hard to take
You sweet sticky thing
If I could slow you down sometime
I’d like to try and change your mind
You’re really not the one to blame
You sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Every time that you walk by
You really leave me paralyzed
If you just wouldn’t play those games
You sweet sticky thing
Your beehive is full of bees
I wish you had a place for me
I’m really trying hard to change
You sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Little buzzin' bumble bee
I’d want to take you home with me
Will you share my beehive with me
You sweet sticky thing
You leave honey everywhere
Sometimes I wonder if you care
Who sees you when you do your thing
You’ve got such a sting
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
Sweet, sweet sticky thing
That’s why I sing
Da da da daa
Da da da daa
Da da da daa aah
Da da da daa
Da da da daa
Da da da daa aah
Da da da daa
Da da da daa
Da dat da daa aah
Da da da daa
Da da da daa
Da da da daa ya
IN MEMORIAM, OF LEROY " SUGARFOOT " BONNER ( MARCH 14, 1943 - JANUARY 26, 2013 ). WAS THE GUITARIST, OCCASSIONAL LEAD VOCALIST, WRITER, PRODUCER / LONGTIME BAND LEADER OF THE OHIO PLAYERS.
I can't believe these guys aren't in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. It will be complete or worth visiting until they are. They should cause many of the original members are gone. The best group ever assembled.
I love the Ohio Players you have a magnificent voice and the drummer he's no joke that man can play I remember going up in New York given the Ohio Players album the skin tight album
So much great music came out of Dayton Ohio! These brothers deserve a mural in Dayton along with all the other Dayton Ohio bands! Zapp, Faze-O, Lakeside, Slave, & The Ohio Players!
I was born in 1994 (I'm a baby to some) but this kind of music, the lyrics and the feeling of the music is something my generation desperately needs instead of numbing ourselves with substances.
These horns are effin incredible. I was raised on this music and did not realize what a treasure the Ohio Players were, nor did I understand musicians of this ilk did not occur but perhaps a few times in an era...they did everything. Phenomenal that this music sounds as fresh and vibrant today as it did when I first heard it almost 40 years ago. Wow...yes, thou art sweet!!!
