Black people; especially African Americans, are masters/geniuses of Arts. From their haunting powerful deep vocal ranges to their inventions like Ragtime, Gospel/Blues, Jazz, Country, Soul/R&B, Rock/Roll, Pop/Hip hop... Music that dominates the Western society as a whole. And the way they master their piano, guitar, sax, drums... Oh WOW! I just wished they got more recognition than that.
I put a spell on you
'Cause you're mine
You better stop the things you do
I ain't lyin'
No I ain't lyin'
You know I can't stand it
You're runnin' around
You know better daddy
I can't stand it cause you put me down
Yeah, Yeah
I put a spell on you
Because you're mine
You're mine
I love ya
I love you
I love you
I love you anyhow
And I don't care
If you don't want me
I'm yours right now
You hear me
I put a spell on you
Because you're mine
This makes me want to smoke an old cigarette on a balcony while listening to this song while mascara runs down my face. I don’t even wear makeup and I don’t smoke.
This makes me feel like I just committed a murder in the city and I’m walking past the cops running towards the crime scene with a trench coat and my hat down in slow motion. They’ll never suspect a thing
this song makes me imagine i just trashed my ex’s car in the middle of the night after he cheated on me and now i’m smoking a cigarette out of my window with mascara running down my face
