Time took away
That glow in your eyes
Slew from your tears
Joy turned to pain
Love to hate
Oh
بكيت دمع العين
بعيد علي غالي سنين
كل مـــا الشمس تغيب
تحرقلي قلبي تزيد
فنيت أيــــام شبابك
فــــــدا دارك وصغارك
كل يوم تزيد تذوق الويل
Time swept away
Passion and heat
Out of your heart
Pain grows in mine
Hate and madness
Scars it hard
بكيت دمع العين
بعيد علي غالي سنين
كل مـــا الشمس تغيب
تحرقلي قلبي تزيد
فنيت أيــــام شبابك
فــــــدا دارك وصغارك
كل يوم تزيد تذوق الويل

I am very proud of my Arabian roots. I am half Lebanese, half Portuguese, born in Brazil. The other day, coupla weeks ago I wrote a song and until then, had no idea of this Tunisian band. My humble composition has some Arabian influences (based on the harmonic minor scale), but of course, it is nothing compared to this epic Myrath! Congragulations, my friends. Salaam Aleikum!
Chorus translation and lyrics in English:
Bkeet dam'a al aïn
Bïd al ghali sneen (gh is like a Frensh/German R)
Kol ma shams tgheeb
Tahragli galbi tzeed
Fnat ayam shbebik
Fda darek w'sgharek
Kol yum, tzeed tdhug el weel (dh = Hard/Voiced TH)
Tears on my eyes
Missing the old days
When the sun sets
It burns my heart infinitely
Your youthfulness is at an end
Sacrificed to your family
Everyday, your torment is growing
The chorus is in Tunisian Arabic and it means: I cried tears (all the tears in my eyes) Far away from my loved one for years every time the sun sets it burns my heart (more and more) Your youth years are gone You sacrificed them for your family and kids Every passing day you taste the woe
