My music channel on my TV brought me here. I'd like to take a crack at why it's called Monday, although I'd probably be wrong. Well, this is a sad song, one that brings lots of emotions out. When you think of Monday, most people wake up and dread it. They have the whole work week ahead of them. I imagine a man, who isn't happy in life, waking up out of bed, sighing, brushing his teeth and getting ready for a dull work day. This man is lonely and only has himself. The song progresses as his day continues and he thinks about how lonely the rest of his week will be. He's at the dinner table, eating by himself, and realizes again, "It's Monday, six more days to go...alone." Maybe he's lost his love, yes, that's it! He then goes to bed and lays awake, staring at the ceiling with the dreadful feeling and before he goes to bed he thinks to himself, "Monday...the day I lost her." And he knows every day he will love with that pain.
A perfect music. Not only about its sadness but also its freshness. I dont just feel deep but also, especially, in some parts, like a fish swimming in the morning, look at the world with foreign eyes. You may imagine also a cup of coffee, near the window, look at the seagulls, standing...ohh.that is fantastic...not it changes the rythim. stabilize, stabilize,,stabilize...
