Take all of your wasted honor
Every little past frustration
Take all of your so-called problems
Better put 'em in quotations
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Walking like a one man army
Fighting with the shadows in your head
Living out the same old moment
Knowing you’d be better off instead
If you could only
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Have no fear for giving in
Have no fear for giving over
You’d better know that in the end
It’s better to say too much
Than never say what you need to say again
Even if your hands are shaking
And your faith is broken
Even as the eyes are closing
Do it with a heart wide open
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Say what you need to say
Haven’t seen “The Bucket List” but it has Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman so I’m gonna see if it’s on Netflix.
EDIT: Im gonna put it on my Bucket list.
Why isnt this song more popular. such a work of art. His ability to paint a picture of emotions is raw and so powerful. i just cant even. most under rated but top rated in my book.
My mom was dying from cancer and they sent a nurse to the house that yelled at my mom. They later sent a physician assistant that asked my brother to stay in the room because she could not understand a word my mom was saying. Her English was fine to me. She had been here twenty years. She called me at work and when she talked about the situation she cried.
I called the agency and let them know what happened and how my mom felt. I was so scared to call cause (I have social anxiety) They never sent her back to the house. I felt so embarrassed after I got off the phone because I stuttered and sounded ridiculous. My coworkers asked if I was ok. This song later made me feel I did the right thing by my mom and you have to say it even if you don’t sound how you want to. Life is too short. My mom didn’t live long after that but no matter if you are scared or stutter say what you feel. It is priceless. I am still proud of that call no matter how scared I sounded.

Reminds me of my late husband. We watched the movie together long before we knew he'd ever have cancer. He stayed home with me and hospice and we said everything to each other left unsaid which wasn't much as it turned out. This is an important message. Say what you need to say that is loving NOW. I always think of my husband when I listen to this song. It's beautiful and so was he.
