I love how simple old blues is, and at the same time it has so many emotions behind it. Interpreted however the listener wants to take it. Such a great genre that is completely dieing off. I am 32 and I meet so few people my age that get the blues, and when I actually do meet someone that says that they like the blues they say SRV or some generic BS. It is the unknown artists that will blow your mind with the raw feelings put into a 3 minute song that can be redone by 4 artists I'm a different way each time. Simply amazing and underrated to say the least. Rant complete.
This songs' got the best lyrics of any song, ever. You got me workin' bossman, workin' round the clock. I want a little drink of water, but you won't let Jimmy stop. I'm gonna get me a bossman, one's gonna treat me right. Work hard in the daytime. Whiskeys at night Ha mercy.

My dear departed grandmother bought every Jimmy Reed record that came out! She was a devoted listener to WLAC, Nashville at night after our local R&B daytimer, WLOU Louisville signed off during the 50's, 60's and 70's.. Remember Buckley's, Ernie's and Randy's record shop shows on WLAC? That's how Grandma ordered her records. Excuse me-got to go and feed my baby chicks...
