I love that they used the original lyrics: “As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free...” lump in my throat. Tears in my eyes. Ache in my heart. Good ache. So proud to be an American, and I pray that God will continue to Bless the USA!!
Our family chose the Battle Hymn of Republic to be sung when my brother's flag drapped casket was to be carried out of church by U.S. Army Honor Guard to his final resting place. My brother was a Civil War reenactor and a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard who passed away in Afghanistan while in service to his country. God bless you Christopher and all the men and women who have perished defending are way of life. Freedom is not free.
I'm not even american but i admire the "american way" with all the patriotism and love for the home counrty and i wish my country had some of that... greetings from Sweden
Thanks to fought for Freedom of korea and helping us
Americans gave us food when we were hungry
and fought for us when we were caught in danger
and they've protect us from threat of evil communists
today's prosperity of south korea is based on their sacrifice
I express my respect to those american soldiers
Let’s make America what our founding fathers envisioned and what this song envisions. Stop the corruption of our government. Stop the pursuit of commodities in the Middle East! Defeat terror and then bring our boys home! The people should never fear government, the government should fear the people!
