This song got stuck in my head the other day and for some reason I started wondering if there really was a radio station with those call letters. Turns out there was a WOOO-AM 1310 in Deland FLA, from 1956 through the early 1970s. It was described as a rock station, but I can't find out much more about it, especially of any of the on-air personalities used the "I am the magnificent!" exclamation. I also can't tell if a signal from Deland (a little west of Daytona Beach) would have reached Jamacia, on the other side of Cuba. I know that radio signals sometimes go further over water than land, so it's possible.
