this guy is having so much fun he makes this song what it is.

Can't have Halloween season without this.

Bobby Pickett's facial expressions are amazing, he really seemed demented looking, playing the Monster Mash role well.

How does one come up with the ability to do facial expressions that well. Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi,  Peter Lorie, Vincent Price, and Lone Chaney all in one.

A little history, folks. He was known also as Bobby "Boris" Pickett, and co-wrote "Monster Mash" with Leonard Capizzi in May 1962. The song was a spoof on the dance crazes popular at the time, including the Twist and the Mashed Potato, which inspired the title. The song featured his impersonations of veteran horror stars Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi (the latter with the line "Whatever happened to my Transylvania Twist?"

This song is older than over half of the people currently living on earth!

When most all the modern day "music" is forgotten and buried, this tune will continue to live on.
