I met the love of my life on a trip to Ireland 6 years ago, in a pub of all places, go figure. I’ve never connected with anyone like that in my life and I think he felt the same. He spent the rest of my trip with me and when I went home we kept in contact and we would always send each other music links. One of the links he sent me was this song which I had never heard. I immediately loved it. My Irish man and I continued to communicate for awhile, he even came to the states to visit me but eventually distance and circumstances got the best of our relationship. I love this song but hearing it now makes me so sad. I think about what we had and what I lost. Ain’t that life though.

I sang this song to a girl I met one day in a bar and she liked it. 2 years from that we got married and then she told me a terrible truth: she didn't understand a word in the song because her English is very bad.
